We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.You will be part of the Air Systems Engineering / Pneumatics Systems Discipline team where you will be involved in Aircraft Systems Engineering for Environmental Control, Bleed Air, Ice and Rain Protection, Cabin Pressurization, Fire/Smoke detection, Heaters, Oxygen, Flow distribution and Ventilation.What are your contributions to the team?Act as a systems engineer and carry out pneumatics discipline activitiesAssure integration and interface management of assigned systems and coordinate with internal groups & suppliers.Define pneumatic system architecture, prepare specifications and requirements,



conduct functional modeling and trade studies.Ensure engineering requirements management, validation and verificationManage suppliers from an engineering project and engineering technical perspectiveReview and approve engineering design documents such as vendor drawings, test procedures, acceptance test procedures, qualification reports and certification documentsDocument technical engineering analysis, ground, and flight test resultsPrepare technical engineering reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirementsSupport the build and operation of test platforms (rigs, flight test vehicles)Work within multi-disciplinary team to address product engineering definition or issue resolutionPrepare design change modifications and optimized solutions.Support production and in-service teams in troubleshooting systems engineering related issues.Ensure adherence to program schedule and milestones.Contribute to Knowledge Domain and Bombardier Engineering System (BES).How to thrive in this role?You have a bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.You have ideally 5-8 years of relevant technical experience in an aerospace engineering field.You have excellent knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamic concepts.You quickly understand complex issues and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.You possess basic knowledge in the pneumatics field and interfacing technical disciplines such as system installation, avionics, power plant and others.You are familiar with component qualification (DO-160,



Mil-Std 810).You are familiar with Design Process Assurance (ARP4754 A).You have knowledge in functional modelling and system performance testing.You are comfortable with the technical aspects of engineering as well as project management.You have a good knowledge of MS Office tools.You have knowledge of system design tools such as Model Based Engineering or simulation software.You are a recognized team player; work well in a team environment and create a collaborative relationship with other team members.You are self-motivated, dynamic and a good communicator.You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills.You are willing to travel for short-term assignments.Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset.Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed for this position!
