The Residential Worker will support individuals struggling with homelessness in Saskatoon.AccountabilitiesReporting directly to Lead ChaplainProvide support to residents ensuring that their spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physical needs are metStrictly follow program policies and procedures and must be able to implement these into daily tasksEnsure that the environment of the program is supportive, nurturing, and encourages a high degree of resident involvement including decision makingBe aware of all residents and their activities (including Wilderness Therapy Program), and follow through with case plans, expectations, and required programmingEnsure quality presentation of meals and snacks as required on shift, while maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the eating and cooking areas and assisting residents with nutritional needsCleaning and sanitizing as necessary and ensuring the safety of the propertyRepresent the organization in a professional mannerDocument business requirements, processes and report as neededFill out incident reports as necessaryDevelop and document options and recommendations to issues and problemsOther duties as assigned by Lead ChaplainCritical relationship management required to work in co-operation with other staff members in job related areas and treat all residents, volunteers, and members of the public with respect, dignity and confidentiality.
