Senior Resource Geologist Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Resource Geologist with specialized expertise in Archean orogenic gold systems to join our team. This role requires a seasoned professional who combines deep geological understanding with advanced technical capabilities in resource modeling and database management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead resource estimation and geological modeling for orogenic gold deposits
- Develop and implement resource optimization scenarios across various deposits in a regional scale gold district
- Develop and maintain comprehensive geological databases ensuring data integrity and quality control
- Conduct advanced 3D geological modeling and resource estimation using industry-standard software
- Interpret structural controls, alteration patterns, and mineralization styles characteristic of orogenic gold systems
- Collaborate with exploration geology teams to refine geological models and support resource growth
- Contribute to technical reports and documentation in compliance with relevant reporting standards (NI 43-101, JORC, etc.)
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
- Support exploration targeting and mine planning initiatives through geological expertise
- Development and implementation of best practices for database management

Required Qualifications

Education

- Master's degree in Geology, Economic Geology, or related field

Experience:




- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in resource geology
- Demonstrated expertise in orogenic gold deposit geology and mineralization controls
- Proven track record of resource estimation and geological modeling projects

Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine), with proven skills developing geological and resource models
- Strong database management skills with experience in acQuire, SQL, or similar platforms
- Expertise in geostatistical methods and resource estimation techniques
- Proficient in geological interpretation and 3D visualization

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Guiana Shield geological province
- Professional designation (P.Geo., FAusIMM, or equivalent)
- Experience with resource classification and compliance reporting
- Track record of publications or presentations on orogenic gold systems
- Extensive geological modelling experience in structurally controlled orogenic gold systems.

Location This position is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, in a hybrid work environment (four days in-office, one day remote). Regular travel to the project site and corporate events will be required. For the right candidate,



the company is open to providing relocation assistance to Vancouver or considering a remote work arrangement for candidates based in South America.
