We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Project Manager to provide client-side project leadership for an ongoing Salesforce engagement with a confidential Canadian higher-education institution.

The Project Manager will work internally with business and technology stakeholders and alongside the organization's existing Salesforce development/implementation partner.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex technology projects within the higher-education sector, with specific experience involving Student Information Systems (SIS) and Salesforce-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall project planning, governance, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Work closely with the existing Salesforce development/implementation partner and provide effective client-side oversight.
- Ensure project delivery remains aligned with agreed scope, timelines, quality, and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate business, technology, vendor, and institutional stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders across areas such as:
- Admissions
- Enrollment
- Registrar Services
- Student Services
- IT
- Manage project plans, RAID logs, dependencies, change requests, budgets, status reporting, and Steering Committee updates.
- Oversee requirements, integrations, data migration, testing, UAT, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
- Maintain transparent governance and accountability across internal teams, Salesforce partners, and other technology vendors.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and provide clear project updates and recommendations.

Required Experience





- 15+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience.
- Strong experience managing technology projects within the higher-education sector, preferably colleges or universities.
- Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) is required.
- Experience managing Salesforce-related projects or Salesforce implementation partners.
- Experience managing complex enterprise technology implementations.
- Strong experience with system integrations and data migration.
- Experience managing testing, UAT, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
- Experience working with senior executives, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Strong project governance, risk management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Canadian/Ontario higher-education or public-sector environments is highly preferred.

Higher Education / SIS Experience

Candidates should have professional experience managing projects involving higher-education institutions such as colleges or universities.

Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) is particularly important. This may include projects involving student admissions, enrollment, registrar services, student records, student services, or integrations between SIS and other enterprise applications.

Salesforce Experience





Candidates should have experience managing Salesforce-related initiatives and/or working directly with a Salesforce implementation or development partner.

The role is focused on project management and delivery oversight, rather than being a hands-on Salesforce developer.

Privacy, Security & Accessibility

Experience working with privacy, security, and accessibility requirements within Canadian or Ontario higher-education/public-sector environments is preferred.

Familiarity with areas such as:

- FIPPA
- Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
- Data protection
- Security requirements
- AODA/accessibility

will be considered valuable. Preferred Experience The following experience would be an advantage:

- Previous project experience with an Ontario college or university.
- Salesforce implementation experience within higher education.
- MuleSoft or other enterprise integration experience.
- Salesforce Agentforce / Generative AI experience.
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows, virtual agents, knowledge assistants, or service automation.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
