The role

We are looking for a Senior SAP Archiving Consultant to join our professional services team. You will own the timely, successful delivery of SAP archiving projects for enterprise customers globally — applying business skills, technical depth, and consulting methodology to design, configure, and implement Sigma's software against each customer's unique requirements. You will work closely with customers and fellow Professional Services Consultants during delivery, and with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, and strategic partners across the sales cycle.

What you'll do

- Lead the implementation of SAP archiving projects, including data migration, system integration, performance tuning, and compliance requirements
- Build project plans: scope, timelines, resourcing, and milestones
- Provide leadership to the project team through the full delivery lifecycle
- Manage project deliverables to quality standards and customer expectations
- Produce technical documentation and train customer teams and end users




- Report project status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders
- Support the sales team on pre-sales: qualify requirements, present solutions, and contribute to bids, SOWs, and winning implementation proposals
- Prepare archiving proposals — assess needs, estimate effort, and shape the recommended approach

What you'll bring

- Minimum 5 years implementing SAP Archiving projects, including S/4HANA
- Experience with OpenText Core Archive: Archiving and Document Access, Archiving Center, Content Server
- Proficiency across UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms
- In-depth knowledge of the implementation and architecture of SAP components and functional modules
- Ability to run multiple projects at once, independently and as part of a team
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication in English

Nice to have

- SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, database administration, and OS-related services
- XML / XQuery / XPath, SQL, PostgreSQL
- ETL tools
- Functional experience with SAP systems

Details

- Location: remote; our office is in Toronto
- Job type: full-time, permanent
- Travel: mainly to the USA and Canada, as needed
- Compensation: commensurate with experience
