Contract: October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027

We are looking for a Senior Security Architect to support security architecture assessments, cloud security, solution reviews, and enterprise security standards for a large healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct security architecture assessments and identify gaps, threats, vulnerabilities, and deviations from approved standards.
- Develop and maintain security reference architectures, standards, patterns, and network diagrams.
- Define security requirements and provide guidance on cloud technologies and security controls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess cloud and on-premise architectures and recommend security enhancements and risk mitigations.
- Apply security frameworks, best practices, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Prepare technical and executive-level reports and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders while managing multiple security initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in IT security principles, practices, technologies, programs, and procedures.
- Solid knowledge of cloud architecture and security controls .




- Certification such as CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, or GDSA .
- 5–7 years of hands-on Threat Modeling experience , including STRIDE, PASTA, MITRE ATT&CK;, Data Flow Diagrams, attack vectors, and risk mitigation.
- 5–7 years of experience with cloud and on-premise security architecture and controls .
- Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, IAM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, RBAC, authentication, secure communications, and network security.
- Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001/27002 .
- 5+ years of experience preparing technical/executive reports and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have
- ArchiMate, TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman certification.
- Public sector or healthcare experience.
