Senior Advisor – Automotive Service

About the Role

Western Automotive is seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Service Advisor to lead our customer-facing operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our clients and shop technicians, serving as the primary expert in driving sales, managing repair workflows, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Customer Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering clear, honest explanations of vehicle diagnoses, required repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- ​Sales & Estimating: Build detailed, accurate service estimates using shop management software; confidently present and close service recommendations.
- ​Workflow Optimization: Partner with the Shop Foreman and technicians to schedule jobs effectively, track parts availability, and meet daily turn-around targets.
- ​Mentorship: Guide and support junior service advisors and front-desk staff on best customer service practices and sales strategies.
- ​Quality Assurance: Review repair orders for accuracy before final billing, handle escalated client issues professionally,



and maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.

​Qualifications & Skills​

- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in a high-volume automotive repair facility or dealership.​
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic procedures, and preventive maintenance.​
- Software Proficiency: Experience with automotive shop management software (e.g., Mitchell 1, Shop-Ware, Tekmetric, or Reynolds & Reynolds).​
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of ethical sales performance.
