As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create high-quality, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized websites that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress, a strong background in web development, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, availability, and scalability.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
- Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our websites are cutting-edge.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Ensure websites comply with web standards,



accessibility guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks (e.g., WooCommerce, ACF, Elementor).
- Solid understanding of front-end and back-end web development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with website optimization techniques and tools (e.g., caching, CDN, image optimization).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with server-side technologies and database management (e.g., MySQL).
- Understanding of web security best practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins).
- Contributions to open-source WordPress projects or plugins.
