Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/bartender to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages/alcohol, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling items to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, service stations & washrooms.
- Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service during busy periods.

Skills





- Previous experience in the food & beverage/alcohol service or restaurant industry is MUST.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. MUST
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills for cash handling.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS is advantageous. MUST
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.60 per hour
