Job Summary

Join our quick-paced sushi restaurant team as a Server/Busser and become an important part of creating exceptional dining experiences!

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist servers in taking food and beverage orders.
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service.
- Refill beverages, deliver food orders, and assist with food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support servers by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and managing side stations to ensure smooth flow during busy hours.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols by handling food properly and maintaining cleanliness in all dining areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering duties,



including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure guest orders are prepared correctly and served promptly.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a friendly attitude, provide excellent guest services, and handle guest inquiries professionally.

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering is highly desirable.
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry helps foster excellent guest services and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude combined with good communication skills will contribute to your success in this role.
