Located in historic Charlottetown, the Centre offers one of the largest convention and meeting facilities on Prince Edward Island. With over 26,000 sq. ft. of functional event space, the Centre is within walking distance of three major hotels, shops, music venues, and restaurants. Our fully accessible facility can easily accommodate any function, from an intimate reception to a large themed banquet.

Reporting to the Manager of Catering and Conference Services, we are seeking part-time Servers for our events and conference services. Most shifts would be evening and weekends.

Duties of the Server will include, but are not limited to:

- Preparing tables, serving stations, or buffet tables for service

- Polishing glassware, cutlery, serving ware

- Running food from the kitchen to the tables

- Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations

- Creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining and entertainment





- Communicating with colleagues to ensure a smooth event

- Providing bar service to guests, including cash and credit services

- Cleaning up after events and aiding in inventory

The ideal Candidate will have:

- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

- Ability to provide excellent customer service to all patrons

- Current Responsible Beverage Service Certificate

- Solid customer service skills
