Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems.
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation procedures and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships.
- Keep track of time management to serve multiple tables effectively during busy hours.
- Support sanitation efforts by cleaning tables, utensils,



and work areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and cashiering.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables seamlessly during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus.
- A background in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly valued.
