Join Our Team as a Hybrid Caretaker!We are seeking a dependable and skilled Hybrid Caretaker to join our team at a 14-floor, 127-unit residential building located in Burnaby, East Hastings Street. In this dynamic role, you will provide a combination of caretaker and janitorial services, building maintenance and administrative responsibilities, while responding promptly to client needs and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesSite Maintenance:Manage and supervise the site. Monitor and maintain the garbage and recycling rooms. Coordinate and supervise annual and seasonal building services and inspections.Access & Security:Program enter-phone, fobs, and issue keys. Install/take down elevator pads for move-ins/outs.Administrative Duties:Collect funds as directed, post notices, send emails, and submit a weekly report.Property Manager Relations:Maintain consistent communication with the property manager to ensure the building is secure, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. Meet tradespeople and instruct on specific requests and provide feedback to PM.Tenant Relations & Management:Respond promptly to tenant questions and requests. Report any concerning issues with tenants or residents to the property manager.Exterior Grounds:Pick up litter around the entire exterior areas of the building, including sidewalks, courtyards, and driveway ramps.Floor Care :



Sweep and damp mop hard surface floors using a neutral cleaner.Entrance / Lobby / Common Areas:Clean door frames, disinfect door handles, polish entry code panels, and vacuum walk-off mats.RequirementsStrong administrative skillsFlexibility, availability, and the ability to address requests promptlyJanitorial experience is an assetProven experience in janitorial, caretaker, or related fieldsAbility to multitask and handle high-pressure situationsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsProficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)Job Type:Full-timeSchedule:Monday – FridayShift Timing:8:00 am – 4:00 pmStart Date:JuneSalary:$20 per hour (after probation period $21/h)Preferred Experience:Building Manager/Hybrid Caretaker/Janitorial: 1 yearLocation:Burnaby, East Hastings StreetWhy Work at Cleantech?Join a team that values your growth, rewards your hard work, and invests in your future.
