We are currently seeking two (2) Streetcar Services Attendants to join the Streetcar Maintenance Department.

The positions involve working mainly Night Shifts (11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) and will normally be performed at Streetcar Facilities within the City of Toronto.

There are two Night Shift positions available: one with Wednesday and Thursday as scheduled days off, and one with Friday and Saturday as scheduled days off. Responsible to perform pre-service check procedures to vehicles, which includes actuating the proper switches and controls for communications systems, doors, lights, brakes, and other related equipment/systems for correct operation; passenger seat replacement; turn track and overhead switches to divert cars to proper storage track,



and shovel snow in yard; Treat passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensures the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (within the area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service provider and an employer.

Education and training will consist of a completed Grade 10 education. Must successfully complete the Streetcar / Subway Rule Book training course and pass the written and practical tests involved.
