Job purpose

At Via Cibo, we bridge the service of a sit down experience and combine it with the flexibility and speed of ordering at the counter. Via Cibo Service Team Members are responsible for creating the experience of our guests in our fast casual environment.

Duties and responsibilities

· Contribute to a positive team setting

· Greet our guests and guide them through the menu efficiently while sharing a passion for our food

· Anticipate guest and restaurant needs by evaluating environment and guests for cues

· Follow up with guests in the dining room and take any additional orders as required

· Enter orders accurately into the POS system and handle cash

· Expedite and gather finished food, beverage and dessert orders

· Run food and hot beverages to the dining room as required

· Remove dirty dishes and clean all areas of the dining room

· Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards of your station

· Follow all operational policies and procedures





· Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

Qualifications & Experience

· Previous experience in a service environment preferred

· Smart Serve certification required

Skills & Fit:

· Robust interpersonal skills

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions

· Ability to learn quickly

Physical requirements

· Constant standing/walking for duration of shift

· Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40lbs

· Constant POS register usage
