We've been serving Spruce Grove since 1990. We're family owned, over 35 years in, and known for honest, friendly service. We offer full automotive services on all makes and models from oil changes to full mechanical repairs.

Who You Are

You're looking for more than just a job. You're the person customers trust with a decision they don't fully understand yet, because you take the time to explain it plainly and you don't oversell. You stay organized when the phone is ringing, three customers need updates, and a technician is waiting on an answer. You take pride in getting the details right, and you're willing to learn.

What You'll Do

As a Service Writer for our mechanical department, you're the link between our customers and our technicians. You listen, you advise, and you walk each customer through the repair process so they understand what's happening and why.

- Greet customers warmly and professionally, in person and on the phone.
- Listen to customer concerns, assess the vehicle, and write clear, accurate work orders our technicians can work from.
- Prepare repair and service estimates,



then explain them in plain language so customers can decide with confidence.
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair, and review the completed work with them before they leave.
- Coordinate with technicians and vendors to keep jobs moving.
- Support workflow across both the mechanical and lube bays to make good use of our shop capacity.
- Process and track warranty claims accurately.
- Use our shop management software to manage estimates, inspections, scheduling, and customer communication.
- Point out repairs a vehicle genuinely needs, and explain them simply and honestly.
- Pitch in where your teammates need a hand.

What You Bring

- A real interest in helping people, and the patience to do it well.
- Clear communication, written and spoken, including the ability to explain a repair so the average driver understands it.
- A solid working knowledge of vehicle repairs and mechanical systems.
- The ability to stay organized and level headed when the shop is full.
- Comfort with shop software, scheduling tools, and digital inspections.
- Previous experience as a service writer or service advisor is a strong asset.
- A valid Class 5 licence and a clean driver's abstract.

Experience

- Customer Service: 2 years (required)
