WHAT YOU BRING
- Licensing: 308A Journeyperson License in good standing (journeypersons) or working towards a 308A License. (Provide full name as registered with Skilled Trades Ontario).
- Safety Certifications: Must currently hold valid Working at Heights, WHMIS, and Ministry of Labour (MOL) Worker Health and Safety Awareness certificates or obtain these prior to start date.
- Preferred Experience: 3rd to 5th-year apprentices and fully licensed professionals are highly preferred but all levels can apply.
- Tools: Bring your own professional hand tools; we provide specialized equipment and replace personal tools as needed.
- Technical Skills:
Ability to read/interpret blueprints, create precise field sketches, and determine material quantities.
- Mindset: A sharp problem-solver who excels in quick-paced environments and takes pride in quality and code conformity.
- Flexibility: Willingness to meet deadlines, including occasional weekends and night shifts for specific projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation & Service: Expertly perform ductwork installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance individually or as a team lead.
- Supervision (dependent on seniority and role requirements): Oversee equipment installations, assist with complex project phases, and mentor apprentices.
- Compliance: Work directly with local inspectors to ensure all work meets standard codes and rigorous quality specifications.
- Operations: Manage material orders, establish job priorities, and complete detailed project reports.
Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year
