AMSi Inc. is a privately-owned Canadian Company, providing quality custom-built switch gear and electrical houses (E-houses) for a wide variety of applications for the local and international markets. We are poised for substantial growth and need a shipper/receiver on our team to help us keep up with the increased demand for our services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Receive purchase orders and transfers

· Process outgoing shipments of products via UPS or other delivery method

· Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.

· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.

· Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.

· Document and resolves discrepancies related to transfers and purchase orders

· Tag and label incoming materials as required

· May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 1-5 years of relevant experience
- High School or equivalent




- Experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience in the electrical distribution industry
- Ability to lift up to 40 kg, some product may be awkward/oversize
- Attention to detail and valuable dexterity
- Knowledge of customs regulations
- Experience working with computerized shipping systems
- Health and Safety experience required
- Forklift License and Driver's License "G" required
- Ability to work as part of a team with an excellent work ethic
- Supervisory experience beneficial
- Hardworking and punctual
- Good written and verbal English communication skills required
- Computer literate
