Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee our operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the shift run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant or food service establishment.
Lead and motivate team members to deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
Train current employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices in food service.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the shift.
Collaborate with upper management to implement operational improvements and enhance team performance.

Skills




Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant or hotel setting.
Robust knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to food handling.
Experience in cash handling and financial management within a food service environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
