Join our energetic manufacturing team as a Shop Worker/Hose Assembler, where your skills will help in the assembly of high-quality railroad hoses. In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in assembling hoses according to documented work order procedures, ensuring precision and safety at every step. Your mechanical aptitude and familiarity with measuring tapes and calipers will be key to delivering reliable products that meet rigorous standards

Duties
Hose Cutting and Assembly
Shipping and receiving
Operate forklifts safely to handle materials and components within the warehouse setting.
Measure parts precisely with calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and function.
Follow manufacturing procedures to assemble hoses efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct inspections of assembled hoses for defects.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and warehouse best practices.

Experience




Warehouse experience including forklift operation is desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge.
Experience with calipers for exact measurements and understanding of manufacturing quality standards.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to hose manufacturing is an asset.

Requirements
Must have reliable transport to Ayr
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
CSA-approved work boots.
