About Mathnasium:

At Mathnasium, we teach math in a way that makes sense to students in Grades K–12. Our goal is to eliminate math anxiety, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love for learning. We provide all curriculum, materials, and comprehensive methodology training—you bring a passion for math and an enthusiastic, caring attitude!

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized, small-group instruction using the proprietary Mathnasium Method™ and learning plans.
Teach foundational through advanced math concepts in a supportive, team-teaching environment.
Actively engage, encourage, and build math confidence in students.
Grade student work, log session progress, and provide updates to the Center Director.
Maintain a clean, energetic, and focused center setting.

Schedule & Hours:
Adaptable part-time shifts during center instructional hours (typically Monday–Thursday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings).




Expect approximately 8 to 12 hours per week.

Qualifications:
Exceptional math skills (completion of an employment math literacy assessment is required).
Friendly, patient, and able to explain complex ideas in easy, accessible ways.
Previous experience tutoring, teaching, or mentoring youth is preferred.
Must pass a comprehensive background check (including vulnerable sector check) prior to hire.
