We are currently looking for a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our new dental office team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing administrative support, and delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.
Duties
Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
Manage patient appointments and scheduling efficiently
Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns promptly
Maintain electronic medical records accurately and securely
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Process insurance claims and handle billing tasks
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures
Excellent communication skills and qualified phone etiquette
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Epic is a plus
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience working in a dental office setting
Background in handling front desk responsibilities in a medical office environment
