About The Role:

We're looking for someone reliable to join our team and clean a commercial kitchen and the surrounding hallways.

If you've got experience with janitorial work — especially in a commercial kitchen setting — we'd love to hear from you. You'll be the person making sure everything stays sanitary and in top shape. So if you take pride in providing detailed, quality work, this is the job for you!

What You'll Do:
Deep-clean kitchen equipment, including hood vents, fryers, grills, ovens, and stainless steel surfaces
Sweep, mop, and degrease floors, drains, and grout in high-traffic kitchen areas
Sanitize prep tables, sinks, and food-contact surfaces per health department standards
Empty and clean grease traps, trash receptacles, and recycling stations
Restock cleaning and sanitation supplies, and monitor inventory levels
Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals safely
Perform routine and deep cleans on a set schedule (ie: weekly, monthly)




Complete cleaning checklists and logs to support health inspections and audits
Identify and report maintenance issues (leaks, broken equipment, pest concerns)
Comply with local health department regulations

What We're Looking For
Prior experience cleaning commercial kitchens, restaurants, or food service facilities required
Familiarity with commercial-grade cleaning equipment and degreasers
Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and chemical safety (ServSafe or similar certification a plus)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Robust attention to detail and reliability
Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule with minimal supervision

Pay: $19.00 per hour
