Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a cook. This role is essential in providing exceptional food service and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic restaurant setting.

Regular Schedule: Friday through Sunday ONLY.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or table
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations




Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Robust communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to serve customers with professionalism and courtesy
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to rapid-paced environments
Basic knowledge of the food industry and restaurant operations is a plus
