This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, accountability, and delivering high‑quality care to our communities.The Health Promoter is a health professional specializing in maintaining and improving the health of populations and reducing health inequities through the action areas described in the Ottawa Charter (building healthy public policy, creating supportive environments, strengthening community action, developing personal skills and reorienting health services). The Health Promoter is an essential member of the client‑centered GRCHC team who uses collaborative and innovative approaches within a broad determinants of health framework. The approach will be evidence based, innovative, and rooted in anti‑oppressive practice. A systems perspective, attention to continuous quality improvement, exceptional communication and organisational skills are essential to the success of this position.Hours of workPrimarily days with one evening per week, weekend work as required.Qualifications3‑5 years experience in a health or social service settingExperience in health promotion and community development,
