Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Full time Waste Truck Driver to collect and transport residential and/or commercial waste and recyclables. This role requires safe operation of waste collection vehicles, adherence to scheduled routes, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Operate waste collection trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes
Collect and transport solid waste, recyclables, or yard waste according to company procedures
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
Maintain accurate route logs and service records
Provide courteous and qualified interaction with customers and the public
Assist with loading/unloading waste when required
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times

Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license (Class 3) with clean driving record
Ability to operate waste collection vehicles (front-load preferred)
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures




Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or flexible hours as needed
Physically able to climb in/out of truck
Solid dependability and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications
Previous waste management or commercial driving experience
Familiarity with local routes and neighborhoods
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Experience:
Garbage Truck Driver: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Class 3 Drivers License with air-brake endorsement (required)
