Rozen Steelworks specializes in the fabrication of pressure piping, power piping, and structural steel. We are currently looking for a dedicated Labourer to join our team in our Acheson, AB.

Responsibilities:
General shop house-keeping: sweeping/mopping of floors, cleaning up as per procedure, clearing of obstructions and items in walking paths, organization of shop and materials, disposal of scrap/waste, keeping work areas and equipment tidy, etc.
Handling materials within the shop and outdoors.
Preparing or assisting with parts to be welded.
Cut, punch, drill, bend or otherwise prepare material as needed for projects.
Assemble parts and finished products.
Assist in moving components and finished parts.
Assisting welders with miscellaneous duties as requested.
Operating of basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work setting at all times.
Other duties as required.

Requirements:




Self-motivated with an attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team setting.
Ability to take direction with assisting other employees in various tasks as requested.
Ability to communicate well and perform physically demanding work.
Complete required WHMIS training.

Terms of Employment:
Full Time Days-Monday to Friday - 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
10 hour days
Hourly rate is per Union Collective Agreement
