Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver/Nanny to provide for a 27 year old special need person, exceptional care and support within a family setting. You will be responsible for delivering personalized caregiving services that promote independence, comfort, and happiness. Your energy, attentiveness, and positive attitude will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

Responsibilities
Provide attentive supervision, support, and care for a person with special needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on dietary needs, preferences, and healthy eating guidelines.
Assist with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, as required.
Plan and engage the individual in appropriate activities that promote social interaction, independence, and overall well-being.
Maintain a clean, protected, and organized living setting by performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and cleaning common areas.




Communicate regularly with family members regarding daily progress, concerns, changes in needs, or other matters to ensure consistent and coordinated care

Skills
Nursing or caregiving background, with proven experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Ability to perform cleaning and housekeeping duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Compassionate and patient caregiving approach, with solid empathy and the ability to use positive reinforcement techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with family members and healthcare professionals as required.
Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including medication administration, safety protocols, and basic first aid.
