Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive site safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures tailored to construction activities and site conditions
Provide ongoing safety training and guidance to construction teams, contractors, and visitors
Investigate incidents and near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
Collaborate closely with construction managers to plan safe work practices and facilitate risk assessments
Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation




Promote a robust safety culture by engaging with teams regularly and encouraging proactive hazard reporting

Qualifications
Proven experience in construction safety or related roles within the construction industry
Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics and documentation
Strong knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations or equivalent local standards
Excellent communication skills to effectively train, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams
Ability to identify hazards quickly and implement effective mitigation strategies
Construction experience is essential; additional certifications such as OSHA 30-hour or equivalent are preferred
