Overview

We are seeking a motivated Dock Coordinator - Forklift Operator to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate dock activities, operate forklifts and clamp trucks, and ensure smooth movement of goods within our warehouse. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a agile logistics operation that values safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Duties
Safely operate forklifts, unload, load and transport goods within the warehouse
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely processing and accurate order picking
Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including stacking, organizing, and inventory management using warehouse management systems
Conduct mechanical checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Perform heavy lifting as needed to move pallets or large items efficiently and safely
Support order picker operations by accurately selecting items based on order requirements
Maintain a clean and organized dock area,



adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements
Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment
Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and warehouse management systems
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
Basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
Valid forklift certification; additional certifications such as clamp truck or order picker operation are a plus
Able to work a shift 12:30pm - 9pm Monday to Friday

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
