Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to ensure optimal performance
Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and freight manifests
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues promptly




Perform routine maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading freight

Experience
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other loading machinery
Familiarity with automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
Ability to handle freight securely using appropriate techniques and equipment
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Must Hold valid D or G Licence, 3 years of exprince of driving heavy duty truck with clean record, able to lift up to 55 lb box, stack on a dolly to do deliveries around GTA, basic English Conmunicate required .
