Overview

Join our agile manufacturing team as a Chrome Plater, where you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the durability and appearance of metal components through precise electroplating processes. This position offers an exciting chance to work in a quick-paced environment, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to produce high-quality finished products. As a Chrome Plater, you will be instrumental in ensuring that each part meets strict quality standards while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities
Prepare metal parts for chrome plating by cleaning, masking, and setting up components using hand tools and power tools.
Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy or bulky items within the manufacturing area.
Apply electroplating solutions accurately, monitoring process parameters to ensure consistent coating quality.
Inspect finished parts for surface defects, thickness uniformity, and adherence to specifications using basic math and measuring tools.
Maintain equipment such as tanks, filters, and spray systems through routine cleaning and mechanical adjustments.




Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve plating efficiency.
Document process steps, quality checks, and maintenance activities diligently for compliance and traceability.

Skills
Mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining processes.
Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely with proper certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with a focus on electroplating or surface finishing techniques.
Familiarity with assembly procedures and the use of hand tools for detailed work.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to coating thicknesses, and process adjustments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards at all times.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
