We are currently hiring for a Material Handler for our client in Mississauga for the afternoon shift . Responsible for ensuring that assemblers have the supplies they need on a consistent basis, forklift is an asset. Collecting of material and transferring them to the correct department, lifting up to 50lbs

Working Hours:

Days: Monday-Thursday 7am to 4:30pm and Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
Anticipate and deliver components, packaging supplies, and material corresponding to orders to work areas as required.
Move sheet metal from racks to CNC laser machine.
Run laser cut sheet metal parts in deburring machine.
Report any quality issues, damaged or defective materials.
Identify non-conformances.
Complete shop records accurately.
Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%,




Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
1 – 2 years of experience in material handling
At least 2 years of Manufacturing experience preferred
Demonstrated dexterity and ability to understand easy to complex assemblies
Ability to lift loads up to 50lbs
Valid forklift license an asset
Medium to highly detail-oriented
Experience with electrical fixtures material and component manufacturing preferred
MDSP
