Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a rapid-paced food service environment. This role is essential for ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and teamwork, contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties
Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and basic dishes
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
Serve food to customers or assist servers during meal service
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Organize and store ingredients and supplies to ensure productive kitchen operations
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Skills




Experience in food handling, food preparation, and cooking is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
Basic understanding of the food industry and meal preparation processes
Positive communication skills and attention to detail
