Responsibilities
Removal and Installation of: cabinets, and countertops, steel and wood doors/frames and hardware, small and large appliances (microwaves, fridges)
Removal and reinsulate and panel interior walls
Cut panels to size
Cut out rough openings for outlets, waterlines, etc.
Accurately cut, measure, and shape various materials as required
Recognize and identify quality issues in material and building procedures
Set up and operate woodworking equipment
Erect walls and roof systems
Attach previously fabricated walls ceilings and floors together
Measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Removal and Installation of sheeting materials including subfloors, wall sheeting and roofing using various materials
Removal and Installation of framing and sheeting materials with air tools, hand tools and glues
Removal and Installation flooring materials using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools




Other duties as required

Qualifications
A strong commitment to safety and a safety leader
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications and work from sketches
Proficient and able to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials required of the trade
Skilled in the residential construction, repair, restoration and installation techniques for assigned work projects
Carpentry experience in modular construction considered an asset
Ability to work in a physical demanding position and a rapid paced team setting
Ability to work indoors and outdoors
Experience with crane and rigging operations an asset
Position requires vehicle to drive to an from Nisku on a daily basis
Position requires strong English communication skills, including written, spoken and comprehension
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
