Hours of operating at The Trading Post are 6am to 10pm so applicants can expect to work shifts within that time period.

Job description

This position will be primarily located in our fishing and tackle department. We are looking for an individual who is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys fishing and hunting as a hobby. This position will involve pricing and merchandising current product, spooling reels, helping customers purchase their fishing + hunting licenses, selling bait, and discussing all things fishing with customers.





If applicant also has a PAL this would definitely serve as a bonus to us as we could also have the applicant trained in our hunting department where we sell ammunition and firearms.

This position may also involve many others roles such as:
Ringing customers through with gas, tackle, bait, gifts, etc. Applicants must have experience with cash/cash registers/and or POS Systems. Another big part of this job description is working with our lottery machine, and working with our fishing licences machine.

Experience:
sales: 1 year (preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (required)
