Job Summary
We are seeking apprentices to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting journeyman in the installation of Fire Protection Systems. Will have mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand power tools. If you are looking to advance your skilled trades qualification or looking to join the skilled trades as a Sprinkler Fitter we can assist with sponsorship and training.
Responsibilities
Cutting and threading pipe
grooving pipe
Ensure accurate measurements using calipers and other measuring instruments to maintain accuracy in fittings.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
sprinkler system layouts
testing
Skills
some knowledge with reading schematics and blueprints accurately is an asset
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fittings.
Experience using hand tools effectively in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
Ability to plumb components accurately for proper alignment during assembly.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
