Experienced Residential Construction Labourer: Prospects for Advancement

MODE Built, a rapidly-expanding local home renovation company, is looking for a full time skilled construction labourer.

We are searching for an energetic, dependable employee who shows attention to detail, initiative and a willingness to learn and adapt.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our on-site (field) team needs assistance with:
Residential construction site prep, maintenance and clean-up
Deficiency repairs, such as framing, minor taping repairs and paint touch-ups
Door adjustment, window installation, lock installation and miscellaneous hardware installation
Demolition
Breaking concrete
Unloading and moving construction materials, tools and equipment
General construction help, indoors and outdoors
Communication with trades, suppliers, office team and home-owners

REQUIREMENTS
Must have construction experience
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
Knowledge of building code and safety codes
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to repetitively lift up to 50lbs





You must be bondable (no criminal record), fluent in English, have a cell phone and have your own vehicle (with a valid driver’s licence).
