Job Title: Labourer

Position Summary:
Shortek Edmonton Inc. is seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team for site work. This position involves a variety of physical tasks supporting drilling and shoring projects in a quick-paced environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and willing to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities:
Perform general manual labour duties on construction/job sites
Assist with site setup, cleanup, and material handling
Operate skid steer and other small equipment safely and efficiently
Use hand tools and power tools as required
Assist with carpentry-related tasks, forming, bracing, and temporary works
Load/unload materials and equipment
Follow site safety procedures and company policies




Work with crew members to complete projects on schedule
Out of town work will be a required. (LOA provided)

Qualifications:
Previous labourer or construction experience preferred
Experience operating skid steer considered a strong asset
Experience using power tools required
Carpentry experience considered an asset
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
Valid driver’s license preferred
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
