TENT TECHNICIAN

JOB DUTIES:
Set up and takedown of tents, stages, dance floors, and lighting
Delivery of equipment; tents, stages, floors, lighting, tables, chairs, etc.
Loading and unloading of trucks, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
Onsite interaction with clients
Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed
Listen to team members’ feedback and instructions
Communication with the tent leader will be essential
Read, understand, and apply the Modern Rentals Standards and Practices Guide
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the tent leader




Ensure all paperwork is filled out including any description of changes with specific information about orders, accesses, obstacles, and requirements you need to get work orders successfully done
Education, Skills & Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
Must be able to lift and carry 75+ lbs. over significant distances
Must be able to stand and be physically active for hours at a time
Able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
Some nights/ weekend work required
Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
Construction: 1 year (preferred)
Skilled Labor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Driver's License (preferred)
