Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framer/Carpenter to join our energetic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using a variety of materials and tools. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, durability, and quality in every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from residential restorations to commercial framing projects, with a focus on craftsmanship and precision.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using wood, metal, or other materials with precision and attention to detail.
Operate hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, and levels efficiently and safely.
Utilize power tools including drills, nail guns, saws, and sanders to complete framing tasks efficiently.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks for foundations or structural elements as required.
Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and weather resistance.
Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing heavy equipment operation when necessary for large-scale projects.
Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures with high-quality craftsmanship.
Follow all safety protocols related to construction sites, including welding procedures when applicable.
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry or framing within the construction industry.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete work is highly desirable.
Familiarity with woodworking techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts is a plus.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual work.
Excellent attention to detail coupled with a commitment to safety standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in quick-paced environments.

Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
