At Effing Surf & Turf, we're more than a seafood and meat market. We're a destination for food lovers.

From Atlantic lobster and fresh seafood to premium Alberta beef and specialty products, we help customers create incredible meals and memorable experiences. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, learning about food, and being part of a fun, energetic team.

No seafood or meat experience required. We hire excellent people and teach the products.

What You'll Do
Welcome customers and create an outstanding shopping experience
Help customers choose products and make recommendations
Process customer purchases and orders
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional market environment
Learn about our products so you can confidently assist customers
Assist with light food preparation, packaging, and merchandising as needed
Support daily market operations and work closely with the team

What We're Looking For

Strong customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
Willingness to learn new skills and product knowledge




Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Availability Tuesday through Saturday

Experience That Helps (But Isn't Required)
Retail experience
Hospitality or restaurant experience
Customer service experience
Interest in cooking, grilling, seafood, or premium food products
