Plumber / Gasfitter

Fly in Fly out role, Located in Yellowknife NT, Canada

Our client is looking for experienced Plumbers and Gasfitters to join their team in a fly-in/fly-out role based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. This opportunity is with a well-established mechanical contractor that has been providing construction and maintenance services to commercial, residential, and industrial clients across northern regions for over 30 years.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems
Diagnose and repair propane and gas systems
Identify and troubleshoot leaks, blockages, corrosion, and system damage
Repair or replace faulty components in water and HVAC systems
Install piping and fixtures to ensure proper water flow and drainage
Communicate with clients to assess issues and provide solutions
Offer guidance on system maintenance and care

Qualifications
Journeyperson certification preferred
5+ years of plumbing experience, ideally in a commercial setting
Experience with gas and propane systems
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Own tools required
Apprentices (1st–4th year) will also be considered
