Summerland Sweets is a family owned business located in Summerland, BC. We have an opening for a retail employee starting in September.
We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals for our busy tasting room and retail shop. Wine experience is an asset, but not necessary – we are happy to share our knowledge with you. If you enjoy interacting with people and providing excellent customer service, please send us your resume!
Responsibilities and Duties
Job duties include:
Selling wine and providing guided wine tastings
Assisting customers
Serving ice cream
Stocking shelves
Light housekeeping
Promoting events
Assisting with packaging
And other tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
Excellent customer service
Sales experience is an asset
Serving it Right Certificate
Food Protected Certificate an asset
Must be 19 years of age or over
Versatile schedule (evenings and weekends)
Able to lift approx 40lbs (a case of wine)
