This position is responsible for fabricating and welding stainless steel vessels, tanks, sanitary tubing, and structural materials. There will also be opportunities to work with copper.
Qualifications
Red Seal Welder Certificate required.
Class A Pressure Welder Certificate required.
GTAW (TIG) welding experience required.
FCAW welding experience required.
Fabrication experience required.
Tank building experience preferred.
Stainless steel or copper experience preferred.
Sanitary stainless welding experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings to determine specifications and layout for welding projects.
Utilize GTAW (TIG) welding techniques to fabricate equipment with precision.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assist in the manufacturing process.
Conduct quality checks on welds and assembled parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Adhere to all safety protocols.
Skills / Experience
Hands on fabrication experience including fit-up of vessels and other weldments.
Organized, self-starting, proactive get-the-job-done-right attitude.
High degree of ownership for work area, tools, and equipment.
Proven attendance and safety record.
Shop crane and forklift experience considered an asset.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
