Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.




Participate in training recent kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent cooking skills with experience in various cooking methods (grilling, frying, baking).
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
Solid communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $17.75-$19.00 per hour
