Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience service, heavy equipment operation, and mechanical repairs, including automotive and electrical systems. This position offers an opportunity to work with diverse machinery such as excavators, loaders, crawlers and heavy trucks and trailers, and in a dynamic environment.

We have a large service shop fully equipped with the necessary tools and equipment as well as a service truck for repairs that are required in the field.

Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed for repairs or upgrades
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery




Operate heavy equipment for testing purposes when required
Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
Order parts and supplies

Skills
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Organized and able to manage time
Skilled in welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment efficiently
Experience with electrical systems repair and maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 55.0 per week
