In this role, you will assist in preparing accurate electrical project estimates, supporting senior estimators with detailed cost analysis, and contributing to successful project bids. Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing project plans, specifications, and drawings to gather necessary information for estimates
Support the preparation of detailed electrical cost estimates using industry-standard software such as Accubid and Bluebeam
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate terms when appropriate
Contribute to the development of project budgets by analyzing material costs, labor, equipment, and other expenses
Help maintain organized records of all estimating documents, including bid proposals and pricing data
Support project management teams by providing accurate cost data for project planning and scheduling




Participate in team meetings to review bid strategies, scope changes, and project updates

Qualifications
Basic understanding of construction estimating processes and terminology
Familiarity with electrical systems and construction practices is highly preferred
Experience with Accubid software for PDF markup and document management is a plus
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors
Knowledge of HeavyBid or similar estimating software is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
