As a valued member of MNP's Assurance & Accounting team, you’ll embark on an exciting path by assisting with various accounting duties. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial documents, maintaining client files, and collaborating with a dedicated engagement team. This role provides exposure to audits, tax filings, and month-end processes, helping you build a robust foundation in accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support audit and bookkeeping engagements
• Prepare government remittances and maintain account records
• Assist in establishing client budgets and plans




• Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities
• Work closely with team to resolve financial discrepancies
Requirements:
• Accounting certificate or bachelor's degree in related fields
• Entry-level to 2 years of accounting experience
• Familiarity with preparing T4s and T5s preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
• Experience with accounting software is beneficial
