We are looking for Nurse Practitioners (NP) for a travel assignment in Northern Ontario.
This is an independent contractor position. Apply only if willing to accept travel assignments or short term contracts.
Requirements:
Valid BLS, ACLS an asset
NP registration in positive standing with their province's College of Nurses
Covid vaccinations - at least 2 doses
Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 months
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Experience
Working with a multidisciplinary team of Physicians and other health specialists in a medical setting.
Working with community partners and sharing patient care.
Working with a Medical record
